There are a few ways to get to the Leyendecker Plant Science Research Center...

If you are coming from:

University

Go west on University Ave., turn left on Main Street and continue driving south about 6 to 8 miles. Turn right on Richardson Road (you'll see Sunland Nursery in the corner past the railroad tracks). Stay on Richardson until you come to a stop at Snow Road (you'll be on a canal bridge). Turn left on Snow Road. Turn right on Leyendecker. Turn left on Plant Science Circle and follow that road around. The main office is the white farm house located on the south side of the farm surrounded by large pecan trees.

From Old Mesilla/highway 28

Go west on University Avenue, under the freeway over pass, past Main Street and across the railroad tracks to Old Mesilla. At the stop, go left on highway 28 about 6 miles and turn left on snow road. Turn right on Leyendecker. Turn left on Plant Science Circle and follow that road around.

Coming from the South (or Mesquite)

Take 478 north (Main Street), turn left on Snow Road, left on Leyendecker, left on Plant Science Circle, to the farm house.

La Mesa

Take 28 north through Stahmann's pecan orchards, past the Rio Grande, turn right on Snow Road, turn right on Leyendecker. Turn left on Plant Science Circle and follow that road around. You'll see the farm house from there.
